True Street House was a substantial Country residence set in 3 acres, located on the outskirts of Totnes and was available with eight additional smaller units incorporated within the title of the property. The site was structurally sound but in a very poor state of repair and tired. The properties were tenanted, but at well below market rents. Subsequently each property was supplied with independent services (water, electricity, gas etc) including the upgrading of the existing sewage treatment plant and 5 units were sold and 4 units were retained.
A management company was established to cover the communal costs, with each property contributing annually.
An area of the land was retained and subsequently planning has been obtained to build garages on the site with the view to sell / rent to the current occupants.
